Little Explorers is a playful, curiosity-led class designed for babies who are beginning to sit, crawl and explore the world around them. 

Through hands-on sensory experiences, movement, music and gentle challenges, your little one can follow their natural interests while developing confidence, coordination and early independence. 

Designed around EYFS, Birth to Five Matters and Montessori principles every activity is carefully crafted to support this exciting stage of discovery and growth. 

In each Little Explorers session, we begin with our warm, welcoming hello song using Makaton to support early communication followed by hands-on discovery play using lights, bubbles, textures, colours and natural materials. 

Babies are encouraged to move freely as they practise sitting, crawling and rolling, while music and gentle rhythm activities support early communication and engagement. 

Throughout the class, we offer simple challenges that build confidence and independence, balanced with calming moments that allow you and your little one to reconnect.

Babies are invited to explore carefully curated sensory trays filled with a variety of natural and everyday materials such as water, sand, leaves, grass, soil, foam, spaghetti, rice, flour and oats. Little ones can scoop, squeeze, pour and investigate at their own pace while discovering hidden objects beneath the textures.

We finish with our goodbye song under the night canopy, helping little ones recognise routine, find calm and gently transition towards quiet or nap time.

Every baby participates in their own way and at their own pace - we follow their lead and create a safe, nurturing space for them to feel confident aided towards meaningful early learning. 

Babies should be able to sit assisted to join Little Explorers.
